Making a list and I'd like for you guys to help me add to it so I can see some other disturbing movies that I haven't seen before. I'm talking messed up stuff and once you see some of the movies on my list I think you'll understand the assignment and recommend some fucked up stuff. Thank you for your help.

I'm looking for movies to deal with really messed up topics and shit that's a difficult watch.

Man bites dog
Raw
Moebius
Spanking the monkey
I saw the devil
Irréversible
Martyrs (the French one, the American remake sucks)

I'm sure I'm forgetting a bunch but that's where you guys come in and hopefully you'll help me. I haven't seen a movie that left me feeling fucked up afterwards in a while.

Orozco the Embalmer (2001)
Orozco_the_Embalmer_DVD_Cover.jpg
A documentary about a mortician in a gang war devasted town in Columbia. Features extensive mortuary footage with slice of life segments in between

Mondo Cane 1 (1962)
91mO1qkfSwL._AC_UF894,1000_QL80_.jpg
THE predecessor to the fake and gay Faces of Death series. Weird scenery from around the world.

August Underground (series, but personally Pt.2)
mordum_br.jpg
A fictional found footage series kayfabed from the camcorder of a serial killing couple with top notch special effects.

Really though, anything from Effed Up Movies. If it's fucked, it's streaming free there. Cannot recommend enough.

Orozco the Embalmer really fascinates me because the experience of living in a highly dangerous city witnessing all these murders and working with embalming all these dead bodies is really quite a surreal experience. It's like walking straight into hell. Interestingly the mortician was never embalmed when he died.
