Courtney Stodden is serving sober glow-up energy, and she’s not holding anything back. Just three weeks after kicking Veuve Clicquot to the curb (yes, she had a brand of champagne), the 30-year-old reality TV siren says her “body, mind, and spirit” are finally breathing again. And honey, she’s doing it in full pin-up lingerie while flaunting her new 109-pound frame. Subtle? Never. Effective? Absolutely.

In a tell-all with the Daily Mail, the former teen bride and self-described “healing blonde” admitted she’d been using alcohol as a crutch to cope with deep trauma, but instead of numbing the pain, it turned her life into what she now calls “messy, loud, and in all the wrong ways.” Translation: blackout nights stopped being cute a long time ago.

And in true Courtney fashion, she didn’t just ghost alcohol, she broke up with it like a toxic ex. “Alcohol and I? Total toxic ex energy,” she declared. “This isn’t just me giving up a substance. I’m leaving behind a version of myself I don’t want anymore.”

The decision, she revealed, is tied to painful memories of her first marriage to 65-year-old actor Doug Hutchison, whom she now openly calls her former “groomer.” According to Stodden, Doug drank “bottle after bottle” daily and encouraged her to join in as a form of control. “I don’t want to feel out of control anymore,” she said, adding that she’s choosing clarity over champagne, no matter how many friends “don’t know what to do with a healthy me.”

Of course, this is Courtney Stodden we’re talking about, so she didn’t just post a sober statement. She posted before-and-after body pics: one in a blue swimsuit from her “booze days” and one in ruby-red lingerie, fresh from the wagon. The message? Sobriety looks good, and she knows it.

But don’t think this means she’s done being headline-worthy. The Calabasas bombshell has just signed on for a Lifetime biopic and is diving headfirst into her “healing era.” She says she wants to face her past “with clear eyes and real strength” and is done letting alcohol control the narrative.

Even her friends in the spotlight are cheering her on, Hugh Hefner’s widow Crystal Hefner wrote, “Life is so much brighter without the poison.” Courtney’s reply? “Soul sis ❤️.”

Courtney Stodden is only three days into sobriety, but she’s already pulling back the curtain on the emotional storm that comes with it, and the ghosts of her past marriage to actor Doug Hutchison are front and center.

In a tear-filled Instagram video, the 30-year-old reality star admitted that the first days without alcohol feel like “mind and body aches”, not just from withdrawal, but from being forced to face trauma she’s kept at bay for years. One of her deepest wounds? Getting married at 16 to Hutchison, who was 51 at the time. Stodden now calls that period a whirlwind of manipulation, emotional turmoil, and endless booze, much of it encouraged by her then-husband as a way to keep control.

“I don’t wanna end up out of control,” she told DailyMail. “This breakup isn’t just with a substance, it’s with a version of myself I’m ready to leave behind.”

She says quitting alcohol has already started clearing her mind, but it’s also unearthing raw feelings and insecurities. And the social fallout? That’s been its own test. Stodden revealed that some friends seem to miss her “fun, party self” more than they appreciate the sober, healing version, making her wonder if they liked her or just the nightlife persona.

Still, she insists this journey is about strength, clarity, and finding her real circle. The emotional message was underscored by her candid admission: sobriety isn’t just about not drinking, it’s about reclaiming control over her story, one day (and one glass of water) at a time.
