"Country Joe McDonald has sadly died aged 84. The singer, who was the frontman of 1960s group Country Joe and the Fish, died due to complications from Parkinson's. He died in Berkeley, California, after his battle with the disease, it was confirmed by a source close to his wife. The singer was best known for the anti-Vietnam War anthem, I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die. The band grew to national fame after his solo performance of the song at the 1969 Woodstock Festival."
