I don't think if Josh is gonna deal with another Cloudflare-style situation either. However, it isn't likely he will have enough money to keep the forum up in the long-run.
I can see it going into 2026, but I'm not so sure about what will happen after that.
The Kiwi Farms is losing so much money nowadays that it is literally impossible for him to earn that six-figure income. Even if he got to 600 total donors, it won't matter in the long-run when he will have to eventually pay his taxes.
And yes, he's going to milk all there's left of his dying...
If you look at the numbers for the forum right now, you can see that the site has around 1-2k active members logged in out of 139 thousand total users that signed up for the site.
The problem is, the vast majority of those 139 thousand accounts are either alts, observers, or just outright...
Imagine being a brief poster boy for free-speech on the Internet. Only to be either abandoned by those people when you were no longer useful to them, or pushing those same people away all because they weren't "based" enough for you.
Exactly, the forum has utilized XenForo forever and it would be a pain in the ass to just leave that behind and use something else.
It also doesn't help that Kiwi Farms is operating at a loss, which only makes Josh's situation more complicated than it already is.
Knowing the content that was there, in addition to its staff being attracted to kids or having BPD, it's no wonder it got nuked.
But if history is our guide, the site owner might fight back.
