How many people who committed suicide actually had a "chemical imbalance" in their brain that caused them to kill themselves, and didn't do it simply because their life sucked?
Most of the 'suicidal' people I knew always stayed inside 24/7, ate shitty food, do drugs and had pretty much no goals for their future. I am pretty sure most people who live that kind of life would want to kill themselves.
I think the male suicide rate might have something to do with people doing things that give them instant dopamine and having no long-term gratification in their lives.
