But boomers will be boomers since a lot of them have no idea how technology actually works (like the time Trump thought he could show off his military plans on Signal but his bad OPSEC caused him to also added a journalist being included in that private Signal chatroom and caused those plans to perform military strikes on Yemen to be leaked to the public which goes to show you how the vast majority of boomers know little about technology anyway).

You would also think Kiwi Farms would be against age check laws that puts the burden on websites because Kiwi Farms isn't really kid friendly either due to the topics that are discussed there and content being uploaded there (there is even a legal disclaimer that Jersh wrote that minors should not be using Kiwi Farms) and said age check laws that puts the burden on websites would apply to Kiwi Farms too as they would force the Kiwis to hand over their IDs to Jersh to ensure they are of legal age to use the farms (because those old nudes of Chris-Chan and Keffals that are currently uploaded on Kiwi Farms are still in the category of porn).

I'm actually in favor of age verification laws but they have to make sense in order to protect the privacy of adults while also ensuring kids don't access content they shouldn't gain access to. Which is why it makes more sense to implement a one time age-verification check on an operation system level and the sensitive personal information is deleted from the machine after the age check is done (Windows, Mac, Linux, Android, and iOS) so this way sensitive data doesn't get leaked to the Internet, kids won't gain access to porn or other adult content, and law abiding adults can still watch their porn and not worry about their personal information getting leaked online anyway.

How would that work on Linux? Anyone can just spoof it with a modification to the source code and a recompile.

This would be effective on systems like Windows and MacOS though. Especially Windows 11, since just to install it you need a Microsoft account.

Some Linux distros already have parental controls so it can be done.

It's a question on who is willing to write the code.

What are the numbers that Ken pulls on the podcast compared to Josh and his podcast? I know he just started, but if there's been an increase in viewers/subscriptions with each episode, then KF MIGHT have something to worry about, otherwise it's another case of KF users being hysterical over nothing and pulling the "only I can do this, no one else can" routine like a bratty 5 year old.

Yes, designed to be set up by the parents rather than enforced against the owners will and requiring identification checks to disable.

Regardless, any ID checks would need a server somewhere to validate it and any Internet connected server can be hacked if someone is determined and skilled enough. For example, Google is supposedly developing OS-level age checks for Android which require you to store your ID on your Google account. Imagine if they face a breach...

Would be just one more place for Jersh's drones to get info on someone.
