Here is what I think is going to happen with Trump and the Conservative movement in general.
Trump doesn't have what it takes to be a Hitler. He may have the characteristics of Hitler but he's way too incompetent to be a Hitler.
If I'm going to compare Trump to any dictator (living or historic) then I'm going to compare him to Zimbabwe's Robert Mugabe. Because Trump is not Pinochet (at least Pinochet believed in a free market which made Chile prosper), he's not Hitler (at least Hitler got the German economy back up and running), Trump isn't a Stalin (half of America doesn't really fear Trump and they see him as a joke), Trump isn't a Peron (Argentina's Juan Peron had far more charisma than Trump anyway), and he's not a Franco (Trump can't even fully unite the Right or let alone have a sable government like Fransisco Franco did).
Robert Mugabe was the dictator of Zimbabwe up until 2017 when he was ousted by a military coup. After Rhodesia lost the Rhodesian Bush War, Robert Mugabe came to power where he wanted to create a Zimbabwean ethnostate ruled by black Zimbabweans (he wanted to create his own real life version of Wakanda) but Mugabe's retarded protectionist policies caused Zimbabwe's infrastructure to be left to rot and killing off the white farmers didn't helped either which caused various famines in Zimbabwe that negatively effected both white and black Zimbabwe's alike (so Mugabe was just as retarded as Cambodia's Pol Pot where Mugabe kept ousting the best people for the job in favor of yes men and retards willing to kiss his ass).
When it comes to social policies, Trump isn't wrong about things like why troons don't belong in women's sports or why trooning out children is unethical.
But when it comes to economic policies, holy shit Trump is a massive retard in regards to how economics actually works.
I'm sure by now everyone is aware of Trump's now infamous 'Liberation Day' tariffs they he tried to impose in April of the this year which backfired on him spectacularly with the stock market crashing and the bond market going down putting America on the path of an economic catastrophe. Trump had to pause his retarded tariffs because the bond market was crashing and that was horrible news for Trump (because an economic collapse would also mean the collapse of both the Trump administration and the Conservative movement).
Trump put a 90 day pause on the tariffs hoping that would give countries more time to negotiate with him but so far none of the tariffed countries are returning his calls and they're not willing to humor his bullshit.
Economists predict that should the tariffs continue as they are then that will disrupt the supply chain which means more empty shelves (which means most likely your local grocery store won't have enough food in stock to meet demand). I don't know about you but peasant revolts usually happen when there isn't enough food to go around, just read a history book on how this usually ends.
Trump's retarded economic policies may end up spelling doom for Conservatives and for much of the American Right because no one wants to starve to death for some politician should Trump go full steam ahead with his idiotic tariffs.
For the record, foreign countries (the exporter) doesn't pay for the tariffs. The people that really pay for the tariffs are the importer (either a business or the consumer). Most private entities in America aren't going to pay for the tariffs either so most big corporations and small businesses are simply going to put the burden on the consumer where your average Joe will pay for the tariffs which means the inflation we saw under Biden will be made worse by Trump should the tariffs continue.
So if the shelves become empty (especially in your local grocery store) then expect the shit to hit the fan if and when Trump runs the American economy into the ground.
If I was some tradcon right-winger, I'd be panicking because the many things the American Right fought for will most likely be in vain if and when America has their own version of the Holodomor which will most likely make Americans turn against the Conservative movement and other factions of the American Right in general.
