I wonder what kind of game would anybody on KF would make? Definitely shovelware but what genre do you guys think it'd be in?
Should Kiwi Farms create their own shitty edgy video game, it would be not much different from the past politically motivated games made by trolls before their time.
So let's take a look at a list of indie Internet video games that I know of that were meant to get a rise out of people but are now forgotten.
Flying Spaghetti Monster The Game:
This is a video game made in Adobe Flash that is based on the parody religion of the same name. It's an overhead shooter (in the loosest definition possible) where you play as the Flying Spaghetti Monster trying to gather new converts to the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster before time runs out, the more converts you gather the higher your score. The game was meant to piss off religious fundamentalists at the time as this game was created during the peak of the New Atheism movement.
Muhammad Sex Simulator 2015:
This was a game with shitty 3D graphics created by some developer from Encyclopedia Dramatica where the goal of the game is to have Muhammad (the founder of Islam) have sex with either animals or sex with other men to get a high score. As you can see by the description, this was a troll game meant to piss off Muslims.
Super Oppressed PPL:
This is a game that originated from Newgrounds that is a parody of the 1985 video game Super Mario Bros. where the game takes away any semblance of a game being fun and lectures you about how you're a bad person for not being fully committed to social justice. This game was meant to make fun of video game journalists that want games to not have any challenges, filled with left-wing politics, and be filled with unneeded diversity.
Angry Goy and Angry Goy II:
These two video games were created at the peak of the Alt-Right's popularity. The two games feature protagonists in a story that is loosely based on The Turner Diaries where the goal of the game is to cleanse society of minorities deemed inferior. No one knows who developed the first game but there's a lot of speculation that Andrew Anglin (the founder and owner of the Daily Stormer) was likely the head developer of the first game. Christopher Cantwell (aka The Crying Nazi) would be the head developer and publisher for the sequel game Angry Goy II. Be warned though, if you decide to play these two games then know that many Alt-Righters back in the day reported malware being emended in these two games and many believed that these games were created by the feds as a honeypot to entrap white supremacists that download and play these two games on their computers, so use a virtual machine and don't have said computer that is used to play these two games being connected to the Internet because these two games reeks of glowies.
Chad vs. The Gay Nazis:
This game is just an even more shitty version of Angry Goy. It has better graphics and it doesn't have any malware (as far as I know) but the game is basically a reverse Angry Goy where the leftists are portrayed as Nazis (the enemies in the game are basically National Bolshevists that wear Nazi uniforms) and the protagonist is an anti-commie Chad where his mission is to save society from National Bolshevism. The game is nothing special and it plays like a really fucking boring anime visual novel and there is hardly any action you do in the game. This game is meant to make fun of more current left-wing politics and it was originally on Steam until Valve delisted the game.
What do these games have in common? They were simply meant to get a rise out of people by touching on controversial topics and to poke fun at whatever is the current mainstream politics at the time and these games quickly become forgotten as times change.
Should Kiwi Farms make their own edgy game, it's going to become quickly dated and cringe where it will be filled with political shit that will become irrelevant in a few years from now and join the list of other now forgotten edgy games on the Internet.
