The only sure way of making decent money on YT whatever is promotion. Gold, VPN, Shadow Legends, Diet shit. Simple as that. There are YTers who do that, and I'm going to use Actual Justice Warrior as an example. Most of his vids have a promo of something, but he does the clever thing of visually highlighting the ad bit, so you can easily skip past it, but I've watched a couple, and while he's no Bill Goodwin*, he's better at sell shit to slags than Dankula is at shilling that game.
Aaaaaannnnnd. There really isn't that much interest in lolcows to pay the bills. I'd like to see joshy try gaming against some 12 yo Paki, who is giving the broom lip. But again, I said this about PPP (and it applies to Plodwinson): The bigger you get, the bigger a target you are. And none of these potholes are any where near the "size" to expect a living wage for what they do.
Daddy Jim et al were lucky enough to be around when there wasn't that much competition, everyone still had decent credit score, and making love was just for fun... those days are gone.
*I listen to a lot of OTR comedy. Burns and Allen had Bill Goodwin who'd shill Swan. The way the promotion was combined into the show is very interesting, and people in the sektur should pay attention. As Gunt is in his Honeymooners arc... to the MOON!
